HANDWOVEN LEATHER

INSPIRATION

For this collection, the designer was inspired by the incredible weaving techniques used in Indonesia, her new home, where palm leaves & rattan are woven into baskets, rugs, chairs, smaller offerings & many more items.

In line with her previous collections, Verena chose the bucket bag, as this shape nicely shows the weaving on the whole body of the bag. When closing & pulling the braided strap the texture of the refined weaving is even more revealed.
